Write for The Journal of Spontaneous Networking

The Journal of Spontaneous Networking is a peer-reviewed, online journal about emerging networking technologies. Most significantly, the Journal is dedicated to bringing together the various communities working on networking technologies that address the realities of constant change on the network. We are looking for authors who have experience with technologies such as Jini, JXTA, Rendezvous, Bluetooth, UPnP, peer-to-peer systems, mobile information systems, wireless networks, and related areas. Our Feature Articles are highly technical and are designed for the practitioner: A feature article should in some way help practicing programmers and system administrators to do a better job at managing large networks in the face of constant change. The Tutorials section publishes articles that introduce networking concepts and technologies. We welcome tutorials on any level, from introductory technology overviews to advanced how-to guides. Tutorials can cover topics such Jini, UpnP, service discover, security, RFID, mobile information systems, and others. Experienced praticioners with opinions are invited to write articles for our Commentary section.

The Journal of Spontaneous Networking is peer-reviewed: you may wish to show your article to a few of your friends or colleagues before submitting it to our review process. In addition, remember you needn't limit yourself by what is typically presented on the printed page, as these articles will be published online on the World Wide Web.

To propose an article for publication in The Journal of Spontaneous Networking, please submit a query that includes the information shown below to fsommers@artima.com. Alternatively, you may submit an already completed article. If you submit a completed article, please include, along with your article, the Mission/Scope, Previous Publication, and Biographical Information items from the table below.
