Manny people asked me to translate some facts about Codezone ... Here are they:
On March 21st Microsoft Germany launched a new developer community website
called Codezone based on the EMEA Codezone initiative.
The site positioned as “The Developer Knowledge Network – around Microsoft
Technologies – from Developers for Developers” and is a mixture of
a meta search engine, a portal and community website offering a new experience for
developers seeking for community resources and localized technical content. The site
contains already nearly 6000 resources at start. Within the first week alone the site
generated nearly ½ million hits, 45k page views and 3.8k unique users, 4k click-throughs
to 3rd party sites and 2k user registrations. The adoption of the codebase and concept
of the site is on it’s way with the UK following in April and other subsidiaries
later.
