If you are using Flex, what path did you take? What's your perspective?

The coming next version of Flex 'Hero' SDK makes enterprise development on Flex/AIR even more attractive by mobile development addition (see: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/mobile_development_hero_burrito.html), however, I do hate Adobe for not providing support for their Flex IDE/Tools on Linux platform.

I've been using IntelliJ on Linux to do my Flex development and it works great!

I've learned that there are many paths that lead to Flex with the leader being Java. Check out the results of this poll: http://blog.flexdevelopers.com/2011/01/what-are-flex-developers-made-of.html
