Dear All,

I am trying to create a Modbus Master with Java, but I don't know the basics like opening an available serial port, defining and sending Modbus commands through the port, receiving slave signals and interpreting them, and closing the port to make it available again. Anyone have any suggestions for a good resource?

Take a look at this page from Ricard Saat http://members.tripod.com/~mbserver/

I have been using his Modbus Server under DELPHI 5 for about two years now with no problems.
