what actually makes a file bean..or what makes ur say that its a bean...do we have to include getxxx() and setxxx() methods there,is it a must in a bean..

Hi Senthil,

Not so sure .. but may be I can help you a bit

Whenever a simple java class has Getter & Setter methods .. we call it a bean

There are two types of beans (Visual & Non-Visual Beans) We are using non-Visual Beans in JSPs. So u usually use a Bean to interact with Database wherein u have the setter & getter methods to set or get the properties

Hope its clear to some extent
