I need your help. i am searching for a code in java which can give me system's hardware information and software e.g. - OS - CPU-type, speed - RAM-size, current use, remaining - Floppy drive-how many? which type? - CD/DVD ram if available which type? - Which softwares are available on system? Linux has the command "lshw" but i want to get it through java. is it possible, if yes, can you please send me that coding?
when i search on net i found it as System.getProperties(); but that doesn't provide the hardware information of RAM, CD/DVD etc. can u please help me?
