Hi,
Im writing a java file in JCreator to connect to a Oracle database through JDBC. I have to add jar files from Oracle to use the right driver. Does anyone know how to add these files? I prefer JCreator but if anyone knows how to simply compile a file in Eclipse, rather than save and run, this would also solve my problem as I need to compile the file to generate jar files in tomcat.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Do you mean add them in JCreator? You need to add them to your classpath when you compile - I believe that's under "Tools". For Tomcat, depending how you're going to configure the database (connection pooling or not), you'll put the .jar files in either <tomcat_home>/common/lib or <tomcat_home>/webapps/<your_webapp>/WEB-INF/lib - see the tomcat site (http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat) for more info...

Lynn.
