Hey, does anybody know if there is program that can make traffic less frustrating? I mean by using sensors instead of timers to change traffic lights.
Is java the way to go or are there more efficient programs for this application?

Many traffic lights already have sensors:

and thay are pretty much purely mechanical. i.e. no programming necessary.
