Does anyone have experience with toying with JPOS, I would like to set up a mini-lab in my apparment with BarCode Scanners, etc.
Yes, I've already googled that. My question though is when you purchase a bar code scanner for instance, does it usually come with a Java Software Library that you can install on your laptop or computer via usb with standard procedures defined in the library?
If so please point which hardware vendors in particular have this approach and give me an example of what type of functions can be used against these (What type of Output/Input Streams are defined by the libraries, etc).
