how does does Sun Java report, define ,determine the user is behind a proxy server?

Sorry, you lost me. How dies "Sun Java" report... ?

Is "Sun Java" some sort of a program.

A User is behind a Server?? What do you mean if
a user running a Client Application has connected to
a Server?? If that's what you're asking code your
client to log in, and code your Server to take note
of that login. Other than that,

How do you get a User behind a Server??
