I am trying to access the audio stream(s) sent to the (and received) from a sound card to do my own recording and mixing, and I can't seem to find any tips/help/examples. At java.sun.com, I seem to only find basic info on how to play a sound file. But I don't just want to open it and play it. I want to be able to record from the sound card to a file and mix/edit sound files before they are actually played. Does anyone know of any good tutorials/examples that can help me with this? I appreciate the help.

I think currently Java API doesnt provide for listeners for SOUND. U might have to use the Java plug-in with your applets.
Im currently researching this. Let me know if u are able to progress further.
