hi ,

i wish to download the javawebserver 2.0 from the net.
but i am getting only a javawebserver2.0pacth4 using www.sun.com ,which will not work with out all the patches.,so i want to download the jws2.0 immediately.
where can i get it.

If you are just looking for a free web server then try Apache's Tomcat server.

I had downloaded Java Web server Trial version 1 year ago and I have placed it at the following link for you. You can download it clicking on the link below. It is self-extracting executable file 9.134 MB. I will remove this link after two days.

you should be using jakarta-tomcat or some other webserver but certainly not javawebserver, sunmicrosystem stopped it recommending almost a year ago due to several bugs in it. also since than no new version of javawebserver is released this means it does not implement latest jave servelet and jsp specifications, thus if u use jws u will find many error due to using older version which does not implement latest specification. So i personaly recommend u not to use jws even if u find one copy.

Well I can't tell you that but if you are looking for a http server I would recommend
http://www.apcache.org
If you need jsp support look at the jakarta project TomCat

If you need a J2ee Ref Implementaion there are a couple of them http://www.jboss.org and another one is http://www.orionserver.com whic h is the same server as Oracle 9ias
