getSource() on AWTEvent Generated on a javax.swings.JTextField returns JFrame when invoked from an overidden(in a Subclass of java.awt.EventQueue) java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(AWTEvent)instead of JTextField. Why?. I do not want attach any listener to the JTextField object but still want capture the source generating the AWTEvent.
