I have a query regarding the internet access,
My question is how a server which is running on my machine be made avaliable to access by anyone over internet, Actually i wnated to know the basic of this , can anyone guide me where will i get the study materil for this.

(I am assuming that you are talking about with a browser)
If you are not behind a router/firewall, then you are probably hosting right now. All someone would need is your IP address and the port if it is not 80. If you have a router/firewall the documention should have information about forwarding or hosting virtual servers normally.

I don't know off hand, any good resources for you though.
