I was wondering if anyone could help me. Ive been set the task to create a simple (or not so simple :s) java program that will encode an sms text message entered by the user, into sms abbreviations. For example, the word later would become l8r, and late would become l8 etc. and i then need to display the encoded message to the user. I aint got much of an idead how to do this so would anyone be able to help me at all??
