I wonder if don't want the deafult frame using with windows Frame can i used other picture to replace Jfeame windows outlook?

eg: deafult windows Jframe with old fasion of closed minimised button and a square out look

replace with others picture circle frame ... etc

Are you looking for change in the look and feel? If so you can use UIManager.setLookAndFeel(UIManager.get...);

If you need your own look and feel then you need to build a custom look and feel class of your self.

Best demo comes with jdk itself...

look out in
folder

\\j2sdk1.4.2\demo\jfc\Metalworks

if i am not wrong...
