I have been using Visual Age for Java and I'm very much comfortable with it.Since i haven't worked on any other IDE's I dont know which is the best.Well the problem with me right now is I use Visual Age 4.0 It uses jdk1.2.2. .I got jdk1.3 installed in my machine. If i import any codes to Visual Age it is not perfectly working. For Instance I have developed my custom JTable in Visual Age.I want to use the InputMap/ActionMap with my JTable.Since Visual Age uses older jdk i'm getting errors. So right now i'm exporting all the codes from Visual Age and hard coding it outside visual age so that i can use JDK1.3.I'm not able to do anything but only GUI design in Visual Age.My Question is can we change the settings and visual age to use new JDK's.When i tried other forums i was not getting any replies and people where suggesting other IDE's.Please help me out
