i am a new programmer and i am designing a translator which happens to be my skool project,using NetBeans IDE 6.5.1.This project of mine is a GUI app meant to translate documents from one language to the other ie documents with .txt,.doc,.rtf,.ppt,.html,.htm,etc but the problem is that my JEditorPane can only display .txt documents and when i changed the contentType settings from text/html to text/rtf,it couldnt display a thing again.
On the aspect of translation,i would like a code sample of how to make a documents be translated from one language to another,example from english to french n vice versa at the click of a button and the translated file would be displayed on a diff JEditorPane which acts as the output container.
i have completed 80% of this project n this is the only setback i have.i need help seriously
