Any software to update deprecated classes?

Hi,

I have some source code written in JDK1.0 and I'm currently trying to update it to JDK1.3 - there are a few classes which are deprecated, such as handleEvent and action.

Updating these classes looks like it might be a bit difficult (im not Java pro!), does anyone know if theres any software out there which can do this for me?
