i need help finding a solution to open a .txt or .xxx (custom) file with custom java desktop application, while app is already running, by double clicking the file in explorer/finder... so how do i make it send the 'file open' request to the same JVM? currently, it is invoking the application again in a separate JVM... i need a solution for windows and mac... i appreciate any help or guidance in this matter...
