Amazing -- it's someone's homework assignment.

Doesn't anyone believe in doing their own work anymore, so they can actually learn something? It seems like half the questions in this forum are asking people to do their homework for them.

If someone gets stuck and asks a specific question, that's fine. But instead we're getting people who don't want to put in any effort at all, and instead just state the problem and expect other people to give them the answer. And what's worse is that people are actually responding to these posts.

It's rampant in the JDC forums at http://forum.java.sun.com/ . So much so that, last I checked, the regulars were playing a game where they would supply the answer to the homework but somehow insert an obfuscated message to tip off the teacher that the lamer had posted a homework problem, or make the code fail in some sneaky fashion... Not sure if that joke got stale, though....
