Given a directory path (e.g. c:\pictures) and a file name (e.g. cat.jpg), is there a word for the two things concatenated together (i.e. c:\pictures\cat.jpg)?

Vince.

I've become accustomed to the verb "join." That comes from Python's os.path.join(). C# has Path.Combine(), but I think "join" expresses a little more than "combine" or "concatenate."
