This statement is brilliant.

The establishment and reenforcement of an architectural posture (i.e getting and staying fit) is not directly addressed in Agile. Architectural posture is essential for long term viability of a product life cycle.

If there is uncertainty about the architecture then commission an Agile prototype as a means for learning and improvement.
