Who else agrees that rich client priority number one for Sun should be painless idiot proof WebStart. If you can't deploy it you can't sell it or use it. Step one should be getting Java on everything pre installed. Step two should be WebStart that just works 99.9% of the time. Maybe I should start a petition for everyone to sign and take to JavaOne. Two years ago at JavaOne the Californians were trying to get rid of Governor Gray Davis and that worked. Maybe a WebStart petition will =).

Oh my, Sun, Sun, Sun. What in the world were you guys thinking. I have never written a Webstart application. I just naturally assumed, it is like downloading a jar from the internet, what is the point. Some say it has several advantages over applets, whatever...
