With 1.0 of Destkop Java Live being done this week, I'm really looking forward to writing real code again. Granted I write code at work all the time. However, it isn't the same as writing my own apps in my off time. For the last few months all I've been doing is writing examples for Desktop Java Live. I must admit it gets boring at times to keep cranking out 1-2 page examples to illustrate some API feature. It will be nice to be working on a real application again with the RSS reader where the various pieces interact and I can design and refactor.
