While I did a couple J2ME projects over the last couple of months, I still thought it would be a good idea to get some advice from the pros and signed up for a UCSD Extension J2ME class. Although, I have to admit, hating the 3 Unit classes that usually stretch out over 10 weeks and torture you with midterm and final exams.

Michael Powers' efforts to make MIDP 2.0 development easier (or possible at all) on the Mac is really appreciated but the Power Player Midp Emulator is hardly useful if you want to do anything but game-programming.

Even simple thinks like the UI to capture date and time can not really be tested with the Mpower Player - trying to switch from AM to PM doesn't work but every try increments the day field. For now I do use Michaels Pre-verifier but still rely more or less on the Midp 1.0.3 Emulator.

Did anyone have success with the ME4SE emulator for MIDP 2.0 development on the Mac? - Drop me a line if you have.
