JXP is and interesting twist to the typcial Velocity type solutions in tha tyou are not learning another sub-language to use it but just re-use the java concepts you already have in your mind. Its not compiled but interpreted just like other script systems.

The reason I am reviewing for possible Orca TDD Build Framework is that the purpose is to have the typical one person J2Me developer stop being a Build/QA engineer. Basically, let the Orca TDD Build Framework be the Build and QA engineer for the developer and deliver that power into the developer's hands.

By having a way to script the Build Framework we reduce the complexitiy somewhat in that the J2ME developer never has to touch the Build Framework once its configured. We than have the power to tell what tests are run and etc by a simple jxp template without changing the ant build files. This in turn reduces developer errors in changing the build framework and etc.

Just imagine the full Build/QA engineer staff of JAMDAT at the fingertips of every one person J2ME developer shop worldwide! Hmm is that Innovation? Hmm I wonder why Sun, IBM, Microsoft or etc are nto thinking of this set of concepts and ideas?
