Although I am workign on casual stand-alone games in J2ME at this time one of the areas I want to develop games in is server-connected games and mulitplayer games. Tom Parks, foremely with EA, has some good tips in this area told by John Papageorge in this IBM-DeveloperWorks article.

Makes it all the more important to pick up skills and experience in JESS when I code the 3D ame Enigne for J2ME this next year.
