I had a machine hacked last night and this makes me most unhappy. The attacker appears to have been a script kiddie and he/she was not able to do much thanks to the firewall. However the fact that a box under my control was rooted frustrates me. Why oh why are there so many jerkoffs out there which do this type of crap? Viruses, worms, exploits, so and so forth. Some people need to find a different avenue to express themselves.
