JavaServer Faces was designed to help developers quickly develop Web applications, but does JSF deliver? In this article (see title of this post), Steve Small looks for an answer to that question by experimenting with Sun Microsystems' Java Studio Creator, an IDE based on JavaServer Faces, to see how quickly he can build a Web application.
The article can also be treated as a getting start guide to Sun Java Studio Creator.

Is it only the performance that developers are looking for? Well, I would say no. How JSF fits into various frameworks and the support from deployment platforms too needs clarification.
