The ESB or JBI topic is heating up within the J2EE world with propsals from Eclipse Foundation(JWT), ObjectWeb's Celtrix, ServiceMix from Codehaus, and other aassociated tools inclduing Drools.

Right now the only open source JBI implementation to play with seem to be the ServiceMix project from CodeHaus adn of course Sun's own RI. We also have workflow engines such as Enhydra's Shark

Its going to get very interesting..
