Like many other companies, Detica are hiring. We're looking to fill a wide range of roles, including Java developers and architects, .NET developers and architects, team leads, and so on.

One positive aspect to all of this is that the IT industry and job market in London is pretty good at the moment. Conversely, while we're getting a lot of CVs through, they're not quite hitting the spot. We're looking for people that will make good client facing consultants combined with a good background in software engineering principles, technology, development processes and (for the group I work in, which is financial services) preferably some investment banking knowledge.

If you're in the mood for a change and the consultancy side of things appeals (lots of varied projects, technologies, etc) then send me an e-mail to simon[dot]brown@detica{dot}com. I'll be at the next London Java Meetup (pencilled in for the 6th July) if you want to come along and have a chat.
