Most developers who have developed web scripting applications know tha tyou should never use global variables. Most web scripting languages including ASP and PHP may still have a security vunerability allowing clear display of usernames and passwords if global variables are used.

For example RadBIDs, is unsecure as they use global variables. See:

2nd post on this fourm, click the links

The second link you are clicking in that 2nd post is an eCorp.com INC site called AuctionCorp.com INC using the RadBIDs biding site software. Chad P Folkening conistantly insists that he is skilled in devlopment when he is in fact not and makes big mistakes like this over and over again during the past 8 years.

To make matters worse he passe donthjese bad incompetnant behaviors on to MIss Megan M Van Petten and her VanPettenConsulting ecommerce sites also contain the same stupid global variable useage errors.

Megan and Chad maybe you should start listneing and clean up the freaking mess??!! It is the number one reason why no firm in INDY will let eCorp or VPC complete ecommerce websites for their use. And, yes over the past 5 years thye have been infomred about this exact problem numerous times.

Mr Chad P Folkening claism 8 years development experience. Is it believable given large errors such as this being hidden and not handled? Miss Megan van Petten claims several years ecommerce site development experience in her VPC site. Makes you go huh??
