The YourKit Java Profiler project has announced version 6.0-EAP15 of the CPU and memory profiler. The major change in this version involves memory use for memory and CPU snapshot storage: "The profiler agent now uses a limited amount of memory for storing the profiling data. This is especially important when profiling CPU or recording object allocations for a very long time, if the profiled application creates many short living threads. Previously, this might lead to out of memory situations."
