Because of the apt restriction to just two sites and java deb packages being in the Debian unstable which does not jell wel with the Debian stable, I prefer a different approach to install java. Basically, it is a modification of using packaging and fake root, see Installing Sun's Java environment on Debian systems from DebianAdministration.org.
