I'm back from my "paintation" of a week and a few days. If you're not an avid follower of my other weblog (why not?! ;>), here's a link to an explanation and update of what a "paintation" is.

Is it Fall Yet?

66 degrees in Austin

Shockingly for summer in Austin, it's in the 60's and 70's this morning. I actually got to sit on the back porch for some morning coffee and email-backlog reading. Hopefully the weather will hold.

Busy Times Ahead

It's looking like September and October are going to be quite busy here at RedMonk. As some of you know, I've already boon-doggled a couple of double-booked meetings (apologies to ya'll) which is a sure sign of a lot going on...or my head still being in vacation mode.

I'll be in las Vegas next week for SAP TechEd, and later this month (Sep. 22nd), I'll be at the Tivoli User's Group Meeting here in Austin.

As we are "analysis for the people, by the people," if you'd like me to hunt down anything at TechEd for you, send the request along (IM, IRC, email, phone, or tube). Some of you have already asked for some leg-work, so I'll see what I can do.
