The Objectweb Consortium has announced the release of Petals 1.0 RC1. "This first release candidate nearly contains all the features that will be available on the Petals 1.0 final version... better management of the interactions between the containers in the distributed environment, refactoring of Deployment and Installation services, attachments management, normalized message content can be any Source (not only StreamSource)."
