Infoblazer has released their XX Framework project under the LGPL open source license with version 1.1. They write in, "The XX framework is an XML-centric implementation of the MVC development paradigm and includes full automation functionality, where HTML form fields can be mapped directly to database fields for display or update without additional coding. The framework's XML oriented approach supports integration with Web Services and XSL."
