Again i saw a product release of a USB based UMTS/HSPDA box for MacBooks or Macs in general. I mean its nice that we now have a box with mac drivers to do UMTS, but in hell, WE NEED A UMTS EXPRESS-CARD and not such silly boxes. Its just insance to carry boxes around when you are using a notebook. How hard can it be to put the hardware into an express card? They have done it thousand times with PC Cards already. Its so sad that the relevant vendors are so ignorant. And yeah, i know that i can use a mobile, which in fact i am doing currently, but with this combo you cant use cisco VPN software because bluetooth connections are not supported. At this point, i hate having an express card slot at all. PC card would be much more convenient actually.
