Twenty-three days ago, Dean Wettetalked about using a cool Firefox extension called Performancing to post to his blog. It contains preconfigured setups for most of the popular blog sites on the internet. It also supports custom blogs provided that the blogging software supports certain publishing protocols. Two of the protocols listed (Blogger API and MetaWeblog API) are supported by Pebble, the engine that runs this weblog.
The Performancing setup asks for four pieces of information once you tell it that your are doing a custom setup: the protocol, a URL, username and password. It tool several tries, and a bit of Googling, for me to figure out that the MetaWeblog API URL for my blog is http://www.weiqigao.com/blog/xmlrpc.
