The JFormula project library for parsing and evaluating mathematical expressions has released version 3.5. They write in, "Users can enter an arbitrary formula as a string, and evaluate it. JFormula supports user defined variables, constants, functions and operators. JFormula works with double, big decimal, boolean, string and 'list-of' values. This release fixes some performance problems."
