The Codehaus GeoServer development team have announced the release of version 1.4.0-RC2. They write in, "Moving ever closer to release, the focus of RC2 is cleaning up little bugs found by users. The admin console is now working in WebLogic, and there are fixes for GetMap post, sld Graphic Strokes, and properly returning GML from GetFeatureInfo. Also contributed was a translation of the admin console to German, and a new version of Jetty. We are nearing in on the final release, so please download now and try it out so we can get in all the last bug fixes before 1.4.0."
