I have been looking at a way to streamline the JavaMe work flow. Certainly, J2ME Polish has taken a step in using preprocessing and a device capabilities database to streamline the JavaMe work flow.
But, EclipseMe has better preprocessing support and other features. My thinking is to have one additional emulator that handles devices without sdks/emulators. MicroEmulator M2 has a feature to skin it for new devices and also is the base of the MPowerPlayer SDK. ANd MicroEmulator has an swt version and thus can be launched within Eclipse.
Thus, the key question now is can we use the preprocessing new features in EclipseMe to set-up a profile per OEM emulator/sdk.
