I think I found a way to integrate j2me and flashlite using JNI. MIDP 2.0 has no native way to boot midlets on start-up. Neither does MIDP 2.1 and MIDP 3.0 will have this functionality.

Thus, in MIDP 2.0 and MIDP 2.1 the approach is coupled with the MobileOS. For symbian see midpjni.

What I am trying to state is that just because both LG and AMP'D have used C++ to integrate Flashlite with Mobile OS device functions does not mean we cannot use J2ME for the same purpose. Pre-MIDP 3.0 it is coupled to the Mobile OS platform just as C++ is at this time and with MIDP 3.0 it no longer is coupled with the Mobile OS but completely Mobile OS independent.

Thus, flashlite and J2ME are not competitors but convergent partners!
