Something that was missed in the coverage of the LG and Google Partnership. A large percentage of Google Applications for Mobile Devices are JavaME based.

Google has shown no known desire to port JavaME applications to Symbian or other application execution environments. Now the ah-ha! LG is a major supplier of mobile devices to Verizon wireless.

Something for thought..
