The first test of Sun's OpenJava Policy comes from Sun's own refusal to follow and comply with the JCP, see Geir Magnusson Jr's(ASF) open letter to Sun. It would seem that since the Novell MS pact of darkness that Sun would be motivated to correct this situation rather than drag its feet since august of 2006.

Come ON Sun will you not Comply with JCP guidelines which you contractually signed to comply with?? Stop behaving like Microsoft. SET JAVA FREE!
