There are at least 4 inner class/closure proposals for Java 7 and it is hard to compare them because they use different terms and different syntax for similar concepts. The idea of this post is to separate out the inner class/closure part of the proposals from the extras and make explicit that the extras can be added or taken away from any of the proposals or be part of other proposals; because they are separate concerns.
