This article and heading underlies the real problem with Dodgeball or Mobile Development in the first place. It was not engineering resources or lack of that killed Dodgeball at Google.

If you create a platform to ease mobile services development both on client side with mobile ajax and server side than you can create the next mobile mash up killer application! That is right one person! remember people who know both mobile client side and server side are limited in number snot unlimited as in Google engineering staff. Does anyone get this yet?
