I have been seeing ads for WEb 2.0 devloers in craigslist form the uniformed masses for Chicago. Here is the point sof why its completely useless to ask for WEB 2.0 developers.
One, Techcrunch and others cover start ups with stories that are 18 months to 36 months old and thus it is unwise to attempt to develop clones as that does not respond to current market conditions and future market conditions. Since most major browsers are pushing out WEB 3.0 support it is wiser to shoot for WEB 3.0 not WEB 2.0.
Two, because the non developer doe snto have any clue as to what can be done technically in a technology implementation is completely freaking useless to ask in the ad fro non developers to come up with a concept to get investors.
Three, according ot all VC groups it is the non developer founders that come up with seed capital from 2nd mortgages not the VCs despite running the ad for over 4 weeks attempting to get a prototype without seed capital.
Four, at no time in any reality will a Series 63 broker be able to come up with successful WEB 2.0 and or WEB 3.0 concept. Going 10 months insisting that it will happen is not facing reality. Do not assume that WEB 3.0 si jsut WEB 2.0 and microformats as thee is a lot more to WEb 3.0 than that combination, read beyond the hype and do proper analysis! For example, how about html 5?
