CNET is showing an article claiming that there is a critical flaw in Java. Despite claims to the contrary there is not a critical flaw in java. The flaw is how DNS is implemented or exactly DNS pinning according to this article.

As I understand it the flaw is limited to plugin environments within browsers and thus most mobile outside of browsers is not affected and enterprise java is not affected. It is the implementation of DNS pinning that is flawed not Java, not AxtiveX, not FLash, or anything else.
